As recommended, listened to as an audiobook, and doesn't disappoint. Small break, then on to the third.
While there is still an undercurrent, this is less dark than the first one. Two sequential stories (quests) in this book, and I liked the first one better. I can see why there is a wiki for this book - the main characters are like players in an RPG, just doing random stuff that doesn't always work, though it often enough works out in their favor.
It will take reading more books (maybe the whole series) to figure out what is happening at a larger (galactic) level.
